Stan

First time back on stan in a while and first time in a few months for him. If anyone knows stan hes not been in the good books for a while. Rearing bronking bucking and napping. His owner nearly called it quicks the way hes been carrying on. So hopefully we get better from today onwards. 

Done abit of lunging first and he likes to try napping on the lunge when cantering on the left rein, which after the second day we are starting to get out of. 

Got on at the mounting block In the yard and had a few leaps after I mounted because hes polite like that and waits for me to get comfy before he takes off literally. 

Settled quickly and went round to the school, which turns out he doesn't like walking into the school any more and through another temper tantrum. 

But after that we did a half decent walk and trot we just need to regain our inside bend and straight lines on our left rein and honestly I was riding with only 2 fingers on the reins and he still wants to pin his head to his chest. So hopefully that's something else to work on in the future. 

I was just happy he didn't try and kill me in the school afterwards.
