Taroq express eventing

Well what can I say about this little guy. Took him to his first ever dressage and cross county event. Only had time for a quick 10 min warm up before his dressage test which was very consistent nearly all 6.5, then he went to jump a lovely round unfortunately 8 faults just clipped two fences but full of confidence jumping. 

Took him down to the xc, have to admit he was abit sticky for the first 3 fences I dont think he quite knew what was going on. 

Came across I first log in a water jump which quite literally blew his mind and we needed up more on our back legs, so we gave it a miss and went round the rest of our course, which by this point he finally got into the swing of it and flew the rest. Luckily the organisers were very relaxed and said I could give the water another go before the next class started, so for taroqs benefit I got off and lend him though first and jumped the log with him have to say i was soaking but it worked a treat got back on and he jumped in the water lovel and out of it. Because there wasent many in the class they didnt eliminate me so we still got a little 5th place rosette mainly for not falling off lol.
