First day I worked with this lovely mare she was very temperamental argumentative and not very forward at all, tried doing abit of work on the lunge first as I was told she bucked and bronked coming out of a walk even worse trying for a canter. She did try and kick out a couple of times on the lunge also tried running in a straight line at some points on the left rein. We also throw some serious shapes while asking for a canter especially coming pasted the gate. 

Well I worked her again on saturday and heard that she has settled more with her owner, she was able to hack out on her own cantering though the fields and no more napping or bucking, so I done abit more schooling on Saturday to see how she was going into canter again. 

She was so much better to lunge no bad behaviour at all even managed to get a second line on her and even a little contact in walk. Walked and trotted fine under saddle and instead of trying to throw me 3ft in the air for canter she just completely ignored me which in a way is abit better. Picked up the schooling whip and gave just the slightest tap for a canter and apart from a tiny bouce going into canter she was fine, so looking forward to tomorrow to see how she improves this time round as shes not a daft mare. 

Thinking of trying to get the canter right on the lunge first to see if it helps improve her transition under saddle and hopefully with no bucks this time round.
