Had a ride and school of tilly in the jump paddock for the first time on Friday. It defvo challenged her sense of direction, as this was improving in a arena but working in a open field proved a little difficult especially In canter. We have a habit of napping towards the geldings in the next field which nearly resulted in us going though a electric fence which i just managed to stop at the last second.
On a good note she was great doing raised trotting poles in trot and canter and her mam had a cool down on her afterwards, and apart from the odd not wanting to move away from the geldings she done what she was told in the end.
Think we are going to continue schooling in the jump paddock in the future to get this habit out of her before her jump client at the end of the month.
